HARTFORD, CT – Sales executives from the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTCSB) marketed the assets of booking conferences and meetings in our state at the prestigious “Midwest’s Number 1 meeting sites and business services exhibition.” CTCSB President Michael Van Parys and Jeffrey Musumano, the Bureau’s National Sales Manager for Associations, hosted a statewide sales booth for 2,400 convention industry representatives at the Association Forum of Chicagoland's Holiday Showcase in the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Joining them for pitches with meeting planners was Gail Kulkin, Sales Manager for the Hilton Stamford Hotel & Executive Meeting Center. The trio came away with dozens of business leads and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for conferences and meetings that could be held in Connecticut hotels, unique event venues, and specialty boutique lodgings.
