As Americans move through this everchanging Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, the staff of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTCSB) continues to operate as the State’s official meetings and sports event sales and marketing organization.

Amidst the many convention, conference and sports event cancellations and postponements across our state and the temporary closures of numerous hotels and meeting venues, our staff is working remotely to support our Connecticut partners who include convention centers, hotels, convention services, restaurants, attractions and other hospitality industry entities.

We have been reaching out to state, national and international meeting planners to help them to reschedule and rebook events and overnight rooms, anywhere in our state, through our wide network of industry resources.

The recovery has begun! Gearing up for guests and meetings after the pandemic, the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) recently introduced "Safe Stay", an initiative focused on enhanced hotel cleaning practices, social interactions, and workplace protocols to meet the new health and safety challenges and expectations presented by COVID-19.
